Final fantasy X-3 Actually some day could exist

After a recent entreview with several key members of the original game production team, a chance of a third game set in the Final Fantasy X universe seems slightly more plausible.

The FFX character designer Tetsuya Nomura, script writer Kazushche Nojima and director Toriyama discussed in an interview with the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu the possible Final Fantasy X-3 on the Japanese blog Ryokutya2089 (via RPGsite). "We've had somehow a summary written from Nojima-san whether we're going to produce X-3," Nomura remarked, "Right now it's going to sleep, but there is the plot itself.

"Within a week of playing FF7, I had the opportunity to interact with different who entered the game industry," Nojima remarked, "And now that phase is moving.

This is not the first time that Square tinkers up with the Final Fantasy X-3, as the studio incorporated an X/X-2 HD re-master audio drama after the X-2 events and a new Tidus and Yuna Adventure. While X-3 can eventually emerge, developer Square Enix is presently full of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, a multi-part production. "We're not in a phase when we can talk [of X-3], unless we have finished producing FF7 Remake" said Toriyama. "It's not 0 probability.

Final Fantasy X, published in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, was a role-playing game produced by Square Enix. The game features Tidus, the star of a sport called Blitzball, who is carried to Spira when Zanarkand, his home town, is devastated by a gigantic monster called Sin.

Trapped in Spira without return, Tidus will eventually act as a guardian of Yuna, a pilgrim to the destroyed Zanarkand who aspires to defeat Sin once and for all. In 2013, Final Fantasy X was released with its 2003 sequel Final Fantasy X-2 as the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster which upgrade visuals to HD quality and add new material. The PlayStation 3, PS4, PSVita, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch feature the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remasters.
