Renews for Season 2 Paramount+ iCarly

The iCarly reboot - one of the major achievement of Paramount+ - will be renewed by the streamer in early September 2.

The iCarly relaunch of Paramount+ is coming to a second season.

The streamer has just disclosed for the 2nd Season that the resurrection has been one of Paramount+'s greatest success stories according to THR.

Nickelodeons CEO Brian Robbins told us: "Once we knew we got it going, we only gave iCarly a license a year or two to Netflix and it broke out with young children who discovered it for the first time and fans who grew up rediscovered it. it took a little while before we started to do so.

At the time of [the new program], demand for the new show was so high that iCarly was one of the most successful, if not the most successful, show on Paramount+."

Premiereing at Nickelodeon in 2007, iCarly focused on Carly, a little girl who lived with their older brother Spencer and had a web show with her friend Sam, which their friend Freddy shot.

The first series lasted six seasons and ended in 2012. The reactivity started roughly ten years later to host the entire new web version of Carly, Freddy and Spencer.

Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor are the stars of iCarly. Every Thursday, new episodes fall on Paramount+.
